Tillsonburg Minor Baseball is pleased to congratulate the 15U Tier 1 Pioneer Cabinetry team on being ICBA (Inter County Baseball Association) 15U Tier 1 Champions.
The ICBA final tournament was held in Hamilton this past weekend. Tillsonburg went undefeated all weekend. Tillsonburg started their tournament off by a win of 18-3 against Hamilton. On Saturday the team beat Stratford in a close game 9-8 giving the team a bye to Sunday. Sunday the team faced Hamilton 14U and won 6-3. In game four Tillsonburg won 9-1 against Guelph. In the finals on Monday night Tillsonburg faced Hamilton 14U once again and won 7-3 making Tillsonburg the 15U Tier 1 Champions.
Not only did they become ICBA Champions but they have also become the first team in Tillsonburg to win a Tier 1 championship. Way to go Otters!!! Congratulations to all the players and to their coaches on a great weekend of baseball. The team played hard and was complemented on their playing skills. Great job Pioneer Cabintery 15U Tier 1 team on your ICBA Championship!!! Way to go Otters!!!
