An Important Message From Tillsonburg Minor Baseball
Submitted By Christie Nunn on Monday, June 15, 2020
Dear TMBI  players and families,

Thank you for your patience while we all endure the current pandemic situation.

It is with great sadness that I have to announce this evening that TMBI has made the decision to cancel any and all baseball for the 2020 season. This includes house league and rep programs.

Our decision to cancel baseball activities for the 2020 season was not an easy one. We believe this was the best decision for everyone involved, the players, coaches, umpires and spectators.

We have been keeping up to date with information released by the federal, provincial & municipal authorities and Baseball Ontario.  At this point we can only gather in groups of 10 or less. That’s not even enough players and coaches allowed on the diamond for 1 team let alone 2 teams to play a game and all the spectators.

We have been monitoring what other organizations are doing; many others have made the same decision that we have. Even if restrictions were lifted, it would be difficult to find other organizations to play games with.

We will be offering 100% registration refunds for all who have paid or if you wish you can defer your payment to next season.

We are still working out a few minor details but someone will be in contact with you in the very near future in regards to your wish for refund or credit.

Thank you for your patience

TMBI executive members
