HitTrax Baseball
Hello Minor Baseball Families,
As you are aware due to the uncertain times, the TMBI board had to make the tough decision to cancel the season. Today we have an opportunity thanks to ABO baseball to get some swings in and more importantly get the kids some social interaction needed.
The ABO facility has an interactive baseball simulator called HitTrax. With HitTrax, players will only hit. The simulator will track where the ball is hit, how hard the ball is hit, bat speed and lots of other stats. Once the ball is hit the simulator will take over and field the ball, determine whether it’s a hit or an out, single or double and so on. It really is the closest thing to playing a game of ball we can do right now. The idea is to have teams of 4 play against each other, each team would play 3 games per week (1 hour of play time per week). The beauty part is we could have a U15 Bantam team play against a U11 Mosquito team and the simulator would make the adjustments so the game would be fair. There would be a $120 registration fee and you would get 6 weeks of play and possibly some playoffs at the end depending on interest.
Right now, we need your help, let us know if your child(ren) are interested. If we get some positive feedback, we will set up a registration page and get the ball rolling!
